Can’t Live Without It

This was a project put together for the Dancebase Festival , ID.Y.

This piece was created to look at Western Society and how it can’t live without the words and items from India and the East. The piece brought together dance and classical Indian kathak. I brought in also my learning of text in performance from my degree.

This was a piece that was brought from my piece Goodbye Colour, and I created this piece to look deeper into my identity and the west. Looking at what we have taken and how we don’t get taught a proper history. The title is to look at the things we can’t live without here in the west.
