Mein Kaun Hoo?
(Who Am I?)
This was my 4th year degree show. An autobiographical show that had the enquiry of asking of who I was and how I got here today.
Speaking of immigration, my mental health, the people who mean alot to me in my life, coming out to my parents and speaking of my sexuality. It was layered with dance styles such as Bellydance and Bhangra, bollywood song and pop lip syncing. As well as video support.
This was a tough show to do because of all the layers and the emotions attached to it, but afterwards having done it, I felt the need to re-do and develop further.
The performance was done on 20th and 21st March 2019 in the Mary Barbour Suite at the Pearce Institute in Glasgow as part of the 2019 Into the New Festival.
